Rotessa Roundup | December 2019

January 3, 2020

December has been a busy month for the Rotessa team; it’s been full of trips, parties, gifts, and more.

Here’s What’s New

1. Gift card giveaway winner

On December 18 the Rotessa Savings Giveaway closed. We picked a name, at random, and gave our winner of a $450 Amazon gift card a call.

Out of over 3,100 names, the winner was David Howard.

Why $450? Those of you who signed up for the contest know that an average Rotessa user saves that much money by processing payments with us, rather than with credit cards.

Congratulations to David and thanks again to everyone who entered the contest.

2. Rotessa at QuickBooks Connect

At the start of December, we took part in QuickBooks Connect in Toronto. This event was a chance to get inspired and learn how our accountant and bookkeeping clients are using QuickBooks Online.

We are looking forward to being at more events just like this one in 2020.

Have you integrated your QuickBooks Online account with Rotessa? We have a step-by-step guide to get you started.

3. A new customer story: Cheryl Reid

You may have seen our latest customer story with Cheryl from Reid & Miller CPA.

Reid & Miller CPA prides itself on creating an environment and relationship in which clients see their accountants as a comfortable addition to their team. Rotessa has served the Winnipeg-based accounting practice since 2015. Since they don’t have to deal with collecting payments, they can focus on their clients’ needs.

If you are an accountant or bookkeeper – or know someone that is – that uses Rotessa, you should check out our partnership program.

All partners get a listing in our brand new partnership directory. Message [email protected] for more details.

4. Rotessa celebrates the holidays

At Rotessa, we’ll jump at any chance to have a party.

We kicked off the month with a party at Greg’s house. The whole team brought their loved ones, made snacks, and only a brave few took a dip in the hot tub.

A few weeks later, we kept the celebrations going with an office pizza party and Secret Santa gift exchange. Socks, mittens, crock pots and Harry Potter books were just a few of the gifts we gave and received.

What a wonderful year it has been! Thank you so much for being a part of it.

It has been a privilege to partner with you and your business this year and we hope to help you grow even more in 2020.

5. Allison’s farewell

Rotessa Allison Candid

This month has not been all about celebration. We also had to say a tough goodbye to our amazing Customer Success Representative, Allison. She has been our go-to person for any support question you’ve had with Rotessa.

Allison will be participating in schooling and missions work overseas in 2020. While it was hard to see her go we are so excited about what is ahead for Allison and wish her the best in her next adventure.

We’d love to hear from you
