There are a lot of exciting things happening around Rotessa these days, so we’ve decided to start a monthly roundup to share the news with you. You can expect to hear about new features, improvements, and general updates from us here at Rotessa.

This month we’ve focused a lot on updating some of the user interface (UI) in Rotessa. You’ll notice a facelift to the colours, fonts and themes, as well as a few updates to some familiar tools like the authorization form and the transaction report. You can learn about the details of each update below.

As always, we’d love to hear from you with your feedback to let us know what you like, or don’t like, and how we can continue to make Rotessa better.

 

Authorization Live Preview Editor

We’ve revamped the way you can view and edit your authorization forms in Rotessa making it easier to visualize everything in one place. Instead of having a separate edit screen, there is now a live preview editor. You can instantly see the changes you’ve made to the form and how it will affect the formatting.

 

Downloadable PDF 

Some of you still find it more convenient to get your customers to fill out an authorization form with pen and paper. We’ve heard your request – there is now a downloadable PDF version of the authorization form that will mimic the online version you create. Any changes you make to the online form will instantly format in the PDF version as well.

 

Bulk Actions 

We’ve made it easier to manage your customer list. You can now use the “Bulk Action” tool in the customer dashboard to select multiple customers for specific actions such as archiving/unarchiving customers as well as sending them an email with an authorization form.

 

Transaction Report Snapshot

We’ve heard from a lot of you that it would be nice to see a preview of your current transaction activity in Rotessa. We’ve tweaked the Transaction Report to now automatically populate the past week’s transaction information up to the current date. This provides a quick convenient snapshot of any current, pending, scheduled, or approved/declined transactions. You can still manually select a custom window of time by setting your own start and end date to generate a report.

 

New Video Series

We’ve created a video series called “How to accept pre-authorized debits: a beginners guide.” This is a helpful tool that simply explain the basics of accepting pre-authorized debits in Canada. Feel free to share this with your friends or anyone interested in learning more about PADs.
